#AskTheExpert My baby girl,just a month old,is in a slight discomfort since yesterday. We have given her the drops for cough and cold,stomach ache and fever. she is still in some discomfort.The moment we are putting her on bed from our lap,she is showing signs of discomfort and is crying. This continued the entire night yesterday. Please suggest. Thanks

colic pain can occur anytime after birth. it is very important that burping should be done for 15 to 20 minutes by keeping the child in upright position on the shoulder. the child should not be kept back on the bed after 1 burping because all the gas is not removed after one burping.
During colic pain you can give anti colic medicines like colicaid to the child which can be repeated maximum 4 times per day.
give stomach massage and limb cycling movements to decrease the pain
