#Asktheexpert My baby girl is 86 days old today. Her birth weight is 2.5kg. now she is 4kg(Almost 3months). Many are saying she is gaining less weight. is this normal weight gain? how to increase my baby's weight? She is having only breastfeed.

Shaista TarannumMom of a 16 yr 5 m old boy4 years agoA. maam your babys weight seems to be fine for the age. the weight of the baby will gradually increase. in the first few weeks after birth baby may have list a few grams also which is natural. after that baby must gave gained some weight. so nothing to worry at all. eat well and frequently breastfeed. feed for longer duration so that baby gets enough of fore milk and hind milk. hind milk is thicker and helps in gaining weight in babies.
