#asktheexpert my baby girl is 5 months old. Her weight is not increasing, she is totally on breastfeed. what should I do. Her weight is 5.9kg

A. While breastfeeding, you can feed longer from one side, so that the baby will get the hind milk which comes later and has higher fat content than the foremilk which comes first. Your baby should be peeing anywhere between six to ten times a day which means the baby is taking feeds properly. If not then make sure the baby is latching and taking feeds well or if ur milk supply is sufficient.
