#asktheexpert my baby girl is 3 months old, she is exclusively on formula feed, she has severe gas issues because of which she is not able to drink milk, she starts crying as soon as we put a bottle in her mouth. she only drinks around 450ml of milk in whole day that too with great difficulty. we are giving colimex 3 times a day.
what else can be done and by what age does this gas problem get settled in newborns

Hello there, mam. Please do not worry about it too much. It is not advisable to give anything to the baby other than mother milk till the age of six months.  Please massage baby stomach clockwise and anti-clockwise. You can also apply hing water on baby stomach. Also do some cycling leg exercises of the baby to relieve from constipation and gas. Please make the baby burp after every feed. Mother should chew saunf and ajwain after every meal.
