#asktheexpert My baby girl is 3 months old. Her weight is 5 kgs. In 20 days her weight increased by only 200 gm. Please suggest how to increase weight or is there any problem? Thank you in advance

A. child should double it's birth weight by completion of six months and triples by one year. please give only breastmilk till completion of six months for healthy growth and weight gain

A. Without knowing the birth weight of your child I really cannot tell you whether the weight is appropriate or not as of now and if your child is not gaining a proper weight as of now also then you should be consulting your paediatrician ones to know the reason behind it
