#AskTheExpert My baby girl is 11 months old and she is not gaining weight. She is 8.5 kgs from her 9th month. Should I be worried about this and what can I do to increase her weight. She has started taking in solids.

A. hi dear During the first year of your child's life, solid foods, such as healthy snacks, have become his main source of energy. Each day, he is allowed to consume three or four quarters to one full cups of food, along with one or two snacks. Breastfeeding should continue until your child reaches the age of 2 or 3.
