Q.
#asktheexpert my baby girl is 1.5 months old. she finds it hard to fall asleep and cries very hard. what can we do for this. pls advice.

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children2 years agoA. Crying of a Baby is mostly because of infantile colic and gas related discomfort which is there commonly in night . It can be relieved by medicine like colicaid or gastica sfdrops containing dil oil and feniel oil with semethicone. other reasons could be hunger any illness, nasal blockrage, ear pain, diaper rash and sometimes more conditions which needs to be ruled out and managed accordingly .

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 11 m old boy2 years agoA. Gastica drops are a paediatric medicine specially formulated for infants and toddlers. It is used for relieving flatulence (gas), abdominal pain, and infantile colic (abnormal crying or fussiness in a healthy child). It contains a combination of simethicone, dill oil and fennel oil.
