Q.

#AskTheExpert my baby girl has red acne on her face which is not going out. Also her skin peels offs leaves a red patch which later becomes a white patch. she has a lot of white patches on her legs back and chest area. my pediatrician says it's normal and it will be okay till age of 3.please suggest.

A. Hi, Your paediatrician is saying right. Most skin related issues in babies below 2-3 year go on own. I would suggest to apply your breastmilk and coconut oil only. Don't worry. It will go on own. Continue breastfeeding till 6 month exclusively and don't forget to burp after every feed. Use mild soap for baby.
