#AskTheExpert my baby girl born weight 3kg .. now she's 3 month 23days still 5kg is it ok

A. hi parent weight gain depends upon birth weight and maturity of the baby if the baby is active and feeding adequately don't worry about it maintain hydration and keep a track on urine output

A. So 2 KG in four months is definitely a very healthy weight gain because a minimum of 400 g is considered good child has gained 500 g each month approximately so that’s a very good weight gain that your child is taking so I would not say that your child is underweight having appropriate weight
