#asktheexpert my baby girl birth weight is 3.5 kg..at 9 day weight is 3 kg now at 51 day weight 3.5 kg..how to gain weight? I'm giving breastfeeding and formula Similac as per doctor suggestion

have frequent skin to skin contact,
at one time feed from only one breast so that baby receives fat rich hindmilk which will help in weight gain
ensure that baby latches properly during breastfeeding.
