Q.

#AskTheExpert my baby does potty a couple of times immediately after the feed. he is unable to sleep more than an hour at a stretch that too only a couple of times in the day. please advise.

A. No problem if baby is passing adequate urine. If baby is active and playful, no fever, passing adequate urine ie. minimum 6-8 times per day, then no need to worry for motion ( once in 7 days or 15 times per day- both conditions normal. Sleep pattern varies from baby to baby  Generally baby sleep for 14-16 hrs at this age  Keep a watch on urine output  Baby should pass urine minimum 6-8 times per day  Feed properly before sleep to ur baby Switch off or dim light before sleep  Sing a song or cuddle ur baby  Check and change urine and motion immediately after passing it Baby commonly wakes up 2-3 times at night for feed

A. good morning if the child is passing motion literally after every feeding session it is a matter of concern it could be an indication of the fact that the child is having lactose intolerance show to the doctor
