Q.

#AskTheExpert My baby does her potty only once in 3 to 4 days gap. How can I improve her digestion so that she has a regular bowel movement

A. at this age the child should pass stool regularly. if the consistency is hard and the child is having pain while passing stool it is considered as constipation. give plenty of water and fibre diet to the child it is important to give fibre diet from cereals pulses vegetables and fruits avoid giving morce than 400 ml milk everyday and avoid giving packet and processed foods as well as biscuits and refined foodc adding papaya , fennel seeds water , oats pear prunes pineapple banana kishmish to the regular diet will help in decreasing constipation

A. U You should go ahead with giving to the child every night before your child goes to sleep and also I am going to advise you to be warm water to the child with the papaya in the morning that’s going to be a very healthy option to deal with constipation on regular basis good amount of water fruits and fibre
