#asktheexpert# my baby delivered at 35 weeks 16 august 2024 birth weight is 2.2 kg, how much weight should be Right now?

A. A standard weight gain should be 500 g in a month after birth so if your child is gaining according to that then it would be a healthy weight gain otherwise not your child is a premature child since your child is born in almost 8 months of time but still it’s very close to the full term child so that is why 500 g would be good
