#AskTheExpert My baby cries all night and sleeps in the day .How do I regulate her sleep cycle.Also can I give gripe water for digestion?

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician3 years agoA. Hello..it's normal..during early days babies sleep during day and vise versa..this patter get changes by 3-4 month..and proper sleep pattern established by one year of age. You can massage baby in evening and can give warm water bath before sleeping. Also maintain comfortable room temperature. Keep bf till six months.
avoid gripe water, burping is important post feeding

Jasmine KaurTrying To Conceive3 years agoA. Hello dear parent, you should avoid giving gripe water at 1 st month of baby. You can guve gripe water from 3 rd month and further. Gripe water will help.in releasing gas and prevents colic pain.
Till then you will have to help your baby burp after every feed by her in the upright position and massage her back for atleast 20 mins and 4 burps are necessary.
