A. By 3 months, it's normal for babies to start gaining better head and neck control. Most babies can lift their heads while lying on their stomach (tummy time) and hold it at a 45-degree angle. By 4 to 6 months, babies typically have better control and can hold their head up steadily while sitting with support. If your baby is holding their head up well by 3 months, that’s a positive sign of their developing strength and coordination. If you have concerns about your baby's motor development, discussing them with your pediatrician can provide reassurance and guidance.
