#AsktheExpert my baby boy was premature, delivered at 33 weeks and now he is 3.5 month old 4.7 kg weight, he is not able to hold his neck, when will he start holding his neck by himself?

A. babies head control can happen anytime like between 3-5 months. It's good to wait until 5 months. If you feel there is no head control even by five to six then you should check with your doctor about it. Maximum time that a baby can take is five months for the control.
