Q.

#AskTheExpert my baby boy was born on 37th week of pregnancy with birth weight 2.5 kg.He is now 7 weeks old now with 4.6 kg wt. He is really discomfortable nw .and i doubt that he is having trouble in urinating as he cries too much before urinating and also urine is not passing freely.what should i do?

A. If the child is having difficult urination then you have to check for urinary track infection and also for phimosis which will be causing infection or even difficultyWrite Your Answer Here

A. you need specialist care. better to show to a specialist and get the right opinion as soon as you can. In such cases you can talk to a doctor and get some blood tests done to reach to a conclusion

A. Newborns may cry while urinating because they are experiencing some level of discomfort. Paediatricians generally believe that this is normal; the bladder stretches as it fills up, putting pressure on the bladder. This should not be painful or cause for concern.
