A. Tell some convincing reason like internet is not available or something is wrong with the phone etc and tell instead u will read a story for him while eating. Make it really interesting by showing actions and making voice modulations. Continue it for a week and don't use phone or tablet in front of him. Slowly he will be used to reading books. When u tell something hold on to it. Don't give up seeing his meltdowns or if he not takes food and give the phone. Only if u r stubborn then he will change
