Weaning food can be started from 5-6 months of age and in that initially in the stage 1 you can introduce some semi solid food to the baby like Banana mango plum boiled Apple and then graduallcy you can start with some Puri of carrot potato other foods which can be given are porridge of suji e sabudana can be prepared in breast milk or formula milk.
initially you can start with one or two tsp which can be gradually increased up tnill at least three meals in a day
Shruti SuranaMom of a 12 yr 1 m old boy4 years agoA. hi dear mom.. as a fellow parents.. I don't prefer packed products....I gave always preferred fresh home made weaning food...which is more nutritious and healthy...rest it's your choice..do try Babyhug heat sensitive spoon to feed your baby.
