#AskTheExpert my baby boy is getting fever from 2days...as we are giving syrup the fever is controlling and after sometime again his temperature is increasing to 101.5F

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician4 years agoA. in case repeat fever medicine in 4 to 6 hours. keep temperature checking 6 hourly.. Fevers higher than 104° F. should be attended to immediately. Dress your child lightly. Use a sheet instead of a blanket to cover her in bed. Breastfeed or give your baby formula often to maintain hydration of body. Give soft easy to digest diet. maintain proper hygein.

AbhayaMom of a 16 yr 1 m old boy4 years agoA. Hi mom Viral fever can take 3-5 days to subside. So no need to worry. If no other symptoms then no need to worry. Give fever syrup to ur baby. Repeat the dose after five six hours if fever comes again.
