#asktheexpert my baby boy born at 34 weeks is now 8 months old is not able to sit independently. Please help

A. i also have a 34 weeker baby girl she couldnt sit independently until then but now shes able to sit after 9 months of age and i give her calcium vitamin D medicines. premature babies take time to attain milestones..dont worry . my babys all milestones are delayed. but shes attaining them slowly

A. Hello, your baby boy is 8 months old and he is premature baby and doesn’t sit on his own so give him calcium and vitamin d3 syrup Ossopan D 5 ml twice a day for three months

Hello ma’am Mostly by the age of eight months kids start to sit independently if your child is still not sitting independently then it would be better to consult a child specialist ones regarding the same as without proper check up no reason can be suggested and figured out so please go for a proper check up on
