#AskTheExpert my baby born on April 06, 2021 goes long hours approximately 3-4 without feeding. He’s mostly asleep and would not feed in general while he’s sleeping. Is this normal? Also how to know the quantity of milk when I am breastfeeding. How much he should be taking in one feed? Thank you in advance

It’s all normal and common
No need to worry
Give adequate feeding
Burp well after every feeding
Try to keep head up position while feeding
Do tummy time and cycling movement of legs to relieve gas and constipation
Wash your hands often before touching your baby
