#AskTheExpert my baby again didn’t pass stool for 4 last days? This problem arises every month. He is now 2 months old

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy3 years agoA. Stool pattern of small children changes from time to time. It can be more than 7 times per day also and sometimes the child will not pass stool for 10 days also. The most important thing is the confsistency of the stool and if it is Semi solid to solid or semi liquid then there is no need to worry about the frequency as well as colour as well as tfhe smell of the stool Also straining and crying while passing urine and stool is very normal

Constipation is completely normal and common at the age that your child so if your child is taking all the feeding properly without any hassle then don’t worry about it in this case it would be considered completely normal and the urine output should be at least a minimum of 10 to 15 times per day
