Q.
#AskTheExpert my baby 3 month 25 days old. she pass stool in gas some times. we usually give her breast milk but some time we also give formula milk. we try to burp her. but at night she didn't burp when she drinks milk while sleeping. she get constipated pass stool in 10 -12 days because of that she get colic pain a lot. what should we do?

Janani ViswanathanMom of 2 children3 years agoA. Lay the baby on the back and pedal her legs if in case there was any gas it will be released smoothly. This cyclic movement will also encourage the bowel movement. Apply a paste of Hing mixed with water around the baby's navel area gently. All these will help to release the gas without much pain. Try to feed more of Breastmilk and less of formula. Or u can consult with your pediatrician and look for a change in formula if it's troubling ur baby.
