#AskTheExpert my baby(2 month 20 days old) is taking 510ml to 530 ml Nan pro along with 2 to 3 times breast feed.is it ok for him? last 2- 3 days he is not liking Nan pro at all .he does not want to take formula milk.i have to force him to take.what to do ?

Milk for babies specially in the initial days of life is very essential,breast milk is ideally the best and should be given exclusively till 5-6 months of age . if your baby is having proper weight gain and urine output then you can consider that the baby is getting satisfied with the milk and there is nothing to worry. formula milk should be given only when suggested by your pediatrician as a substitute to breast milk if due to any reason it is not sufficient to fulfill the demand of the baby. according to the age different stage of formula milk are therzae like stage 1 till 6 months of age stage 2 from 6 months to 12 months and thereafter stage 3 . after one year cows milk should be started and any kind of health drink powder in milk should be used only after the completion of two years of age .

Hi mommy Offer fm frequently Give adequate feeding every feeding at two hours of intervals Maintain hydration Burp well after every feeding Try to keep head up position while feeding Consult with your doctor once for proper medical examination and treatment
