#AskTheExpert my baby 19 months old got fever suddenly. she doesn't allow to check her with thermometer. im giving her Calpol after every 4 to 5 hours. kindly suggest the dosage. im giving her 1 teaspoon currently.

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of 2 children3 years agoA. it is thevjral flu. Temperature more then 99 degree is fever. Paracetamol can be given for the fever every 6 to 8 hourly for fever . Fever may be due to any viral infection so mostly will subside in 3 to 5 days . other wise consult a doctor near by.
