#asktheexpert My 8 month old baby had mild diarrhoea everytime she has food for the past 2 days. Today, I noticed blood mucus in her stool. is it a serious concern?

ExpertDr.Sabiha AnjumObstetrician and Gynaecologist1 Year agoA. Definitely if there is blood in poop, it is a matter of concern and most of the time it will be infection and sometimes it could also be a medical emergency, so please consult a doctor at the earliest
