#AskTheExpert my 7month daughter always passes green stools..no complains of cold;stomach pain or neither is she cranky. Is it normal as according to the doctors it’s a sign of infection.

A. yes, its normal. If the baby is fed with certain food substance like- green vegetables like spinach, peas, beans or broccoli in the form of purees or soups, the poop can be green. Certain brands of formula milk resulting in green poop. Imbalance in foremilk and hind milk also causes green stools.
