Q.

#AskTheExpert my 7 months old baby is constipated.. she poops 3 days once with more struggle and straining. There is water drops from her eyes while straining and pooping. Started giving solid foods as complementary along with breastmilk after completion of 6 months. Her poop looks hard

A. whenever you introduce food for the child and it is causing constipation you have to stop that particular food which is causing such problems and try to give food which is more rich in fibre and has got plenty of fluids. it is important to add papaya in the diet which will help in decreasing this problemd and also at the same time see that you are not giving any new outside milk which is again known to cause constipation Medicined is to be given only if constructed by the doctor after examination. if needed the doctor will give polyethylene glycol which is the first line of medicine for constipation
