#AskTheExpert My 7 month old kids both of them are mostly having loose motion somewhat 4-5 times a day since last 7-8 days. z&d & ors is being given. Any advice what could be done. much appreciated , thanks!!

Loose motion are most of the time infective where itrs is associated with fever and vomiting and its known as gastroenteritis where symptomatic treatment along with management for dehydration is required if loose motions are associated with foul smell mucous high grade fever than it could be bacterfial infection which needs antibiotics treatment

Maintain a good personal and oral hygiene for your child. Complete the course of medication as prescribed by your doctor. Give easily digestible homemade healthy foods and keep hydrated. Continue breastfeeding. Good luck and take care.
