if the consistency is hard and the child is having pain while passing stool it is considered as constipation.
give plenty of water and fibre diet to the child
it is important to give fibre diet from cereals pulses vegetables and fruits
avoid giving more than 400 ml milk everyday and avoid giving packet and processed foods as well as biscuits and refined fxood
adding papaya , fennel seeds water , oats pear prunes pineapple banana kishmish to the regular diet will help in decreasing constipation.

well ,yes ,it is caused by many reasons like inadequate intake of fluids,low fiber diet or having less physical activities
so please keep your child well hydrated
give food items like soup , coconut water, tomatoes dish , sesame seeds , fruits like pear , papaya plum banana etc to your child
encourage your child to do more physical activities
