ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician3 years agoA. that's normal, typically breastfed babies will not poop as often because their bodies absorb most of the breast milk. going even a week without having a bowl movement is fine.

Offer your baby a small amount of water or a daily serving of 100 percent apple, prune or pear juice in addition to usual feedings. These juices contain sorbitol, a sweetener that acts like a laxative.
