Q.

#asktheexpert my 6 month old has constipation from the time I've started solids. I giv lots of water and feed well but still she doesn't hav regular potty

A. Hello ma’am After six months you can give it in a little bit of quantity because sometimes doctors also say that you can add a little bit of honey or dates syrup or a jaggery to the food to give a little bit of sweet taste

A. honey is not advised to be given before 1 year right?

A. Hello ma’am Whatever food you are giving just make the consistency a little semisolid so that your child can easily swallow it because that with the water and milk will go in a good quantity apart from that if you are giving good water that’s nice I would advise you to give a teaspoon of honey to your child with warm water right before the bedtime and try to give prune juice every single morning as that really helps a lot
