Q.
#AskTheExpert my 6 and 1/2 months baby is not gaining expected weight. he is 7.3 kg. his birth weight was 3.4 kg. at the 3months he was 6.5kg. after that he is not gaining the expected weight that is 500gm per month. can I give him brown rice?? oats??

ExpertDr Bandana JoshiAyurvedic Physician2 years agoA. The weight of the baby seems fine so no need to panic and add desi ghee in all 3 meals of the baby and give one small elachi banana daily to the baby and yes oats can be given

weight is good
so nothing to worry
as a child is 6.5 months old ,you can give rice
no problem
but please prefer homemade healthy food only
