#asktheexpert my 6 .5 month old baby keeps his tongue slightly out all the time . other variations our pediatrician has pointed out is low ears, flat nasal bridge and wide gap between foot thumb and first finger he has reached all his milestones for his age. anything to worry about at this age

A. Frankly I think your child is just doing it out of habit or something with whatever has been mentioned by the doctors why it is going to affect the tongue sticking out of the mouth actually I don’t feel any logic in that but yet if you have a concern regarding this query you can one consultant ENT doctor they’ll be able to give you proper help on that because they are associated with nose throat and ear so it’s associated with the mouth so they can help you or you can check with the dentist as soon as I feel it is completely normal monitor for another six months and if anything changes
