Q.

#AskTheExpert My 5m old baby thinks I am the food..he literally cries when I go near him to be breastfed..he loves playing with everyone in the family but not more than 5 mins with me.. is this normal? when will he know that I am the mother and not just food.

A. it's ok... babies take time to understand things ☺️... what you can do to increase mother-baby bond is talk to the baby whenever you are breastfeeding, massaging, bathing, changing diapers... play with the baby using rattle toys, read books meant for babies... while talking make cute funny and big expression... go to park with the baby ... introduce him with nature... kiss him on tummy hands feet ... babies love all these little things ☺️... hope this will help.

A. This is a biological instinct that babies crave their mother's attention. What is this? When they see you, they expect you to immediately pay attention to them. Even if you're holding them and trying to comfort them, they may still cry
