Q.

#AskTheExpert my 5 month old baby ( 6weeks premature) has been passing stool 2-5 times a day. There is no visible discomfort otherwise. Playtime, feed demand is normal. I have been giving Enterogermina daily since 10 days. Previously stool consistency was runny but it is normal but frequency bis still high. Should I be worried?

A. hi parent you can stop enterogermia as long as the consistency of the stool is normal frequency of the stool doesn't matter maintain hydration and keep a track on urine output

A. Anywhere between a firm and soft consistency is pretty much normal. If it sways one way or another, it could suggest some digestion or fiber issues.
