#AskTheExpert my 5 days old baby is not sycking his mother's nipples. also while crying hislips keep tremouring. His milk consumption is also very low. He has fever since 2 days. any doctor can guide me?

Neelam ChinnappaMom of a 7 yr 4 m old boy3 years agoA. thank you for reaching out to us with this question please make sure that you are reaching out to your exam meaning pediatrician who can check why he has fever and give the medication accordingly additionally as far as he not being able to start the nipple from the because his week with the fever so once the suggest you should be able to drink milk properly additionally what you can do is massage his lips once he feels better so that his lips and strength and he's able to suck better and when he is sucking what you can do is massage your breasts that the flow increases and it doesn't have to put in as much effort
