#AskTheExpert My 4 year old does not like to chew and eat food. Iam still feeding him soft food. is it a problem for him?

A. Offer water to sip on between each bite, or let him try to feed himself with a child-friendly utensil; this will help slow his eating speed and force him to wash down his food between bites. Make sure he's not distracted at meal times, so he can focus on what he's doing.
