Q.

#asktheexpert My 4 month old baby takes feed every hour. He is mostly breast fed but due to frequent feedings my milk supply is not being adequate for him sometimes. How much formula milk should I give him if he demands feed every hour. PS: Needless to say he pukes a lot of milk as a result.

A. Hello dear parent, if your baby is urinating 8 to 10 times in a day then your baby is well fed and hydrated. But if you wish to give formula milk, then you can give 120 ml to 140 ml at a time. But begin with 60 to 80 ml. So baby does not vomit much.
