Q.

#asktheexpert my 4 month old baby has not gained adequate weight. her birth weight was 2.65 kg. now it's only 4.7 kg. I always try to feed her (breastfeed+ top feed nanpro) every 2.5 hours but she sometimes refuses the breastfeed milk and always refuses the bottle. what to do in this case.

A. dear mum the weight gain of your baby is fine baby should gain at least 500 gram per month and should double the birth weight by 6 months or less

A. but Baby refuses the bottle every time and breast milk production is not good in my case.what to do.

A. baby gaining a minimum of 600 grams to 800 grams per month is a good weight gain and it is a clear indication at the babies getting sufficient breast milk and in the case the breast milk is not sufficient you can alternatively be giving the child infant formula milk stage 1 using a bpa free bottle like babyhug
