Q.

#AskTheExpert my 4 month n15 day baby girl is suffering from fever after third does of vaccination n I HV paracetamol can u suggest me please time gap n how many time should I give it to my baby.

A. Fever is a response of the body to any kind of infection or any inflammatory process in body so you can give paracetamol in a dose of 15 mg/kg/dodse as the first line treatment also this dose can be again repeated after every 5 to 6 hours if fever is repeating. and you can also do cold sponging of the body if required

A. Hello there ma’am please do not worry about it too much and it is very normal after vaccination and you can give baby paracetamol syrup in a gap of six hours and also if fever is high then you can use normal water cloth on baby’s forehead. Take care
