#AskTheExpert my 4 month n15 day baby girl is suffering from fever after third does of vaccination n I HV paracetamol can u suggest me please time gap n how many time should I give it to my baby.

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Fever is a response of the body to any kind of infection or any inflammatory process in body so you can give paracetamol in a dose of 15 mg/kg/dodse as the first line treatment also this dose can be again repeated after every 5 to 6 hours if fever is repeating. and you can also do cold sponging of the body if required

Sarika guptaMom of 2 children3 years agoA. Hello there ma’am please do not worry about it too much and it is very normal after vaccination and you can give baby paracetamol syrup in a gap of six hours and also if fever is high then you can use normal water cloth on baby’s forehead. Take care
