kids do this when they try to soothe themselves.
I mean ,they do this when they feel stressed or anxious.
so please make sure your child is well cared.
offer other comfort object like soft blanket ,soft toy .
but please don't scold or yell at your child.
you can tell stories which explain that some habits like this are bad for kids Health.
stay calm consistent and positive.
