Q.

#asktheexpert My 3 year 8 months old is vomiting after eating anything. There is no fever. Its late at night and doctors are not available. What should I do and give?

A. after 2 episodes of vomiting wait for one hour then give vomiting medicine (syp ondem/emeset) 5ml and then again wait for one hour and then give only easily digestible food. do not give anything to eat in this 2xhr waiting period. if vomiting occurs again then meet your doctor. avoid giving milk and heavy diet. vomit usually occurs due to gastritis

A. Hello dear parent! Try giving ondem syrup to reduce the discomfort. Keep giving sips of ORS to avoid dehydration. Consult your doctor for further assistance in this regard if problem persists. Good luck and take care
