SandhyaMom of a 8 yr 9 m old girl4 years agoA. Hi, the baby will get double the birth weight by six months. So initially every month baby will gain around 500 g each month. You can calculate accordingly to your baby’s birth weight. Make sure there is a gap of two hours between each breast feed and burp your baby well after every feed.
