#asktheexpert my 3 month old baby fart very smelly and he poo once in a week day . is it okay he is on breastfeeding

Gas related problem is very common in small babies because of many factor including immaturity of the gut . other factors include cow'hs milk introduction before 1 year of age , bottle feedingj, not giving proper burping after each feed. Digestive enzymes like aglozyme drops can be given as suggested by doctor in proper dose for reliving of such symptoms .

Since your child is not passing motion regularly which is why your child is passing smelly gas so it is completely alright not a problem at least your child is not suffering with stomach pain pain so you can have a relief on that part it’s completely normal as of now
