Q.

#AskTheExpert my 2month old infant remains active otherwise.but somedays she sleeps unusually more & stays very drowsy, although she takes her feed & urinates adequately..is such unusual long sleeps normal?

A. long sleep is common in new born baby will sleep around 16-18hrs slowly and gradually as the baby grows sleep decrease maintain gap between feeds at least two hrs at day time and at night time could be around 5hrs
