#asktheexpert my 29 days old baby birth weight is 3.8 now she is 4kg, i am only breastfeeding her does the milk is sufficient or not

Author of questionMom of 2 children8 months agoA. I asked only expert doctors to answer for this question, she reduced to 3.6 at 5 th day and now she is 4, why u always answering for my questions

No madam it is not sufficient I’ll tell you why also because the child is expected to gain 500 g in a month which is somewhere around hundred grams approximately 150 g approximately in a week so if you look at it your child is only gained 200 g which is an indication your breast milk is not enough so if you are okay with it I would advise you to give more of formula along with breastfeeding
