#asktheexpert My 2 years daughter’s weight is 12 kg, it’s consistent for last 3-4 months. What should I give her to increase her weight?

A. Hello You can add caloric dense foods like ghee, almonds, banana, dates, anjeer, avocado, chickoo, mango, egg, paneer, fish in childs recipes completely avoid sugar, sweets, junk & fried foods .

A. Hello dear parent! Let the child be physically active as much as possible. Give 3 large portions of meals and 2 small snacks in a day. Limit the milk intake to maximum of 500ml per day so that the rest of the nutrition comes from healthy solids. Include all food groups in your child’s diet that is staple in the family. Speak to your doctor for further advice.
