A. Hello, your baby boy is 26 months old and he is having a habit of pica so deworm him and then give him iron medicine and calcium vitamin d3 supplements too

A. this problem is also known as pica due to iron deficiency as well as nutritional deficiency children place dirty things in the oral cavity as well as they may lick dsoil or they may lick the walls. they may place footwears in their oral cavity. meet your doctor because irfon supplements needs to be started and give food rich in iron

A. There is no specific way to prevent pica. However, careful attention to eating habits and close supervision of children known to put things in their mouths may help catch the disorder before complications can occur.
